PT. Aker Solutions serving the oil and gas industry in Asia Pacific Region
10/03/2009 // PT. Aker Solutions surface equipment manufacturing headquarters is located in Batam Island, Indonesia. The plant was constructed in 1992 and is currently being increased to approximately 80,000 sq ft to accommodate the increasing activity of the company. The expansion work is expected to be finished by April 2009.
The plant employs an approximate 268 employees working three permanent shifts and sponsors an apprenticeship training program in conjunction with the Indonesian Government.

Aker Solutions' Batam plant has obtained international recognition as a leading designer and Manufacturer of quality equipment serving the Oil & Gas Industry in Asia Pacific Region, including Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, also China, India, Pakistan, Nigeria and Middle East countries.
